Transport Scotland has for a short period been running a consultancy on Integrated Ticketing: A Strategy for Scotland. Although the consultation period closed on 30th June, we are sure that Gordon Hanning will appreciate further comments. The consultation web pages are here, and there is also a pdf version.
Relevant to theconsultation is the 2005 Project Plan for Scotland's rollout of concessionary travel passes with potential upgrade to more general use citizen service cards.
At the Commons Select Committee list of publications in the 2007-2008 Session are both the recent DfT response (Fourth Special Report 16/6/08) to the Committee's report on Ticketing and Concessionary Travel on Public Transport (Fifth Report 1/4/08) and the substantive Fifth Report.

The 2008 Concessionary Travel Bill has passed through the Commons after being introduced in the Lords, and is back in the Lords in early July - the Bill progress page also links to an overview in Research Paper 07/19. Much of the picture from DfT, including a new Stakeholder Bulletin at end June, is here; DfT is running a consultation on the programme, with closing date 20 July.
